Boating Holidays in the UK can offer the ultimate “away from it all” experience for many holidaymakers. Britain is blessed with a wide array of boating destinations suitable for many types of motor powered craft in many varied locations.

One of their most popular rentals is for canal boats that ply the Avon Ring, which meanders its way through the very heart of the English countryside, offers some of the most pleasant scenery and famous landmarks found anywhere in the country.

Another popular option from the same company is what is known as Base 38, which makes use of an Ashford class canal boat for a seven-day trip on a 62 foot craft that sleeps four people in two cabins, complete with two bathrooms.
Another popular boating company is Brinks, they offer a variety of boat hire options, some of the most popular being on cruiser type boats. One of these is the Brinks Duet, which sleeps either two or three people.
This is a sedan cruiser that offers a large sunbathing area as well as a full wheelhouse, dining facilities with the main cabin located at the forepeak. This cruiser offers high-quality facilities such as TV, CD and all the basics such as a hairdryer.
One option with this cruiser is to enjoy the Norfolk Broads, setting off from near Wroxham on a seven day trip around this amazing, flat and un-spoilt water world.
Another cruiser available from the same company is the Lady Kristina, a Kris cruiser that operates out of a location close to Windsor, plying the River Thames. This tasteful quality boat offers great stability via its low wash hull, with a raised saloon area complete with sliding roof.
There are three cabins the main one being a double in the forward area, it has luxurious fitted carpets throughout as well as fabric upholstery, and even warm air central heating, a coffee cafétière, large TV as well as a DVD, radio and CD player.
